Hello there everybody. Here I return with some work, I know it's not LOADS but better than none. To be fair, it is STILL the holidays so I feel quite proud of myself managing to do something. I've coloured in a bunch of different backgrounds from the earlier bits of my film, so thought I'd put a couple up here... after all it has been a while.
This is the outside of Grey squirrel's house/tree.
Rum's bed, where he is awoken time and time again by his lovely neighbour.
This is practically a complete scene (yeah it is complete) where Grey finds Rum's acorn stash.
I've also added a new bit at the start of the film. It's not animated, just still images that will fade in and out. After the last peer review, folk thought it would be better to see Rum hiding his acorns. I didn't exactly want to animate a happy little scene with Rum hiding his acorns... SO instead, I gave it a more sinister look. Which I much prefer. These are the second, third and fourth pictures, the first one didn't seem to work. I'll need to scan that again.
After the last image I want to have a big thunder sound and 'Red Rum' to appear in bloody looking text.
So yeah, that's what I've been up to. And being a definite non-expert at Photoshop, I feel I'm doing alright. Since it will be back to animating again on Monday O.O Back to that room....
Only 5 months to go!!!! :-D and at the same time :-O
The start is very Joe Pesci-esque. Haha.
ReplyDeleteSo you'd like the 3D scene to look like those at the top there. It should be easy enough to draw that texture of the trees on the UV maps I give you..
When would you prefer it is done by?
Yeah that would be gooood :-D It's just the same texture I'm using for all the tree, with different shades. It's easier. So the 3D trees can have the same texture yeah?
ReplyDeleteWhen can you do it by? It's not like super-urgent so don't worry, just when you can manage it :-)
